My Fees
The following fees are for cash pay patients, insurance fees are subject to your individual insurance policy.
- First Visit (60 min.) - $350.00
- Return Visit (20-40 min.) - $120.00 - $235.00 (Phone consults are available at the same rate)
- Pelvic Ultrasound Evaluation with office visit - $90.00 (Plus office visit fee)
- Ultrasound only - $125.00- $175.00
* Fees are based on amount of time spent, you will only pay for actual time used. All fees are due at time of service. All credit cards welcome.
We accept only PPO plans for Blue Shield, Blue Cross, United Healthcare, CCN, Aetna and Pacificare. However, since insurance reimbursement is NOT dependent on length of time spent with the patient (most insurance reimburses for a maximal time of 30 min for new visit and 20 minutes for return visit), and most insurers recently LOWERED reimbursement for office visits by 3-5% and for office imaging and procedures by 20-35% (!!), Dr. Goodman cannot spend as much time as he would wish if insurance is to be billed directly.
*We encourage you to check with your insurance company to make sure that Dr. Michael P. Goodman is an in-network provider at this specific office location (635 Anderson Road, Suite 12B, Davis, Ca 95616) Be advised that if he is listed under any other location or facility, we cannot accept your insurance here.*
For patients with a non-contracted insurance or if that wish more time than their insurance allows: You may pay for your visit out of pocket and an itemized bill will be provided to you to be sent in for reimbursement from your insurer personally.
If surgery is contemplated, patients may return to their HMO or network provider, or may stay with Dr. Goodman, who has privileges at Sutter Davis Hospital and Woodland Memorial Hospital.
