Menstrual Abnormalities

Menstrual Abnormalities can occur at any phase of life, and are always bothersome and frightening.

Whether caused by ovarian dysfunction, anatomical or environmental factors, or other reasons, an accurate diagnosis (shared with and explained to the patient) proceeds a therapeutic regimen chosen from all available options by a collaboration between patient and physician.

Dr Goodman utilizes his experience, in-office sonography (pelvic ultrasound) and sonohysterography ("Contrast Ultrasound") as well as hospital Operative Hysteroscopy for prompt and minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment.

Recent Professional Activities

Dr. Goodman will head a group of distinguished vulvuvaginal aesthetic surgeons from 6 sites around the U.S. gathering data to present the largest series of outcomes of vulvovaginal aesthetic surgery ever published.

Dr. Goodman is an "Invited Guest" at the "1st Annual World Congress of the International Society of Cosmetogynecology" at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery meetings in January, 2008 in Orlando, FL

The International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health will hold its 2008 annual meeting in San Diego in February.  Dr. Goodman has been appointed as a reviewer and will attend the Meetings.
